Do I need technical skills?
No. If you can use WordPress, you can use Link Manager Pro.
Will it slow down my site?
No. Links are redirected in milliseconds with no noticeable impact.
Is link masking legal?
Yes. However, be transparent about affiliate relationships and follow FTC guidelines.
Installation
How do I install?

What are the requirements?
- WordPress 5.0 or higher
- Administrator access
Will it work with my theme?
Yes, works with virtually all WordPress themes.
Links
How do I create a link?
Go to Link Manager Pro → Pretty Links. Click the New Pretty Link button, enter details, and click the Register Link button. See more at Creating Links.
Can I edit a link later?
Yes. Go to Link Manager Pro → Pretty Links, click the Edit icon, make changes, and click Update Link.
What happens if I delete a link?
The link will stop working and show a 404 error. Make sure you redirect the deleted URL to something else (e.g. To your homepage.)
Can I import links?
Yes. Go to Link Manager Pro → Settings → Backup & Restore. Click the Restore button to upload a backup JSON file.
Tracking & Analytics
Are clicks tracked automatically?
Yes, if tracking is enabled in Settings.
Can I exclude my own clicks?
Yes. In Settings, disable "Track Logged-in Users."
How long is data kept?
By default, 365 days. Change this in Settings under "Data Retention."
Troubleshooting
Links not working?
- Check link is Published (not Draft)
- Go to WordPress Dashboard → Settings → Permalinks and click Save Changes
- Clear your cache
Clicks not tracking?
- Check if tracking is enabled in Settings
- Make sure "Track Logged-in Users" is on (if you're logged in)
- Test the link and wait a few minutes
